Setting the Record Straight

In 1998 Sonny moved away from the Oakland chapter of the Hells Angels to the Cave Creek chapter of the Hells Angels.

The seventh chapter was the Vagos Motorcycle Club Pomona Valley chapter, with members of Nacoda Breed MC. December, 2007. 6 members of the motorcycle club are arrested for burglary, robbery, coercion and kidnapping in crimes occurring in August 2007. The crime involved a member of Vagos Motorcycle Club who wanted to leave, so was then beaten, kidnapped and robbed. Rusty Coones was the founder of the Hells Angels Orange County chapter. Rusty Coones has also been the President of the Hells Angels San Fernando Valley chapter. May 22, 1968, Sacramento - Arrested for battery on a peace officer; sentenced to six months to 10 years in jail. Paroled on Nov. 9, 1971.

Another career Hells Angel member, Michael Lee “Coke” Cultis, also was among those arrested at the Spokane Angels’ clubhouse. David Labrava played “Happy” in the tv show Sons of Anarchy. As well as acting in the show as Happy, David Labrava was hired as a technical advisor, to help the show accurately depict one percenter motorcycle culture. He was hired as the technical advisor by the Son’s of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, after which they decided to also cast him in the role of Happy.
